Hanging out in the parks is the best thing you can do in this big city (in my opinion). Today I spent a few hours in Lumpinhi park, considered as the lung of BKK. From early morning many people are jogging, doing yoga, tai chi or whatever is releasing for them (I saw a man shouting as he was walking). Feels so good to enter in such a free dimension. I rented a bycicle boat and went pedaling on the lake for a while. Then I did some stretching and relaxing on the grass and eventually was surrounded by these huge lizards that seemed to be yet cold from the night, moving very slowly. If an animal had to be the sign of this trip, it would be this lizard, for sure.

I climbed to this viewpoint on top of one of the giant rocks. The view was amazing but the place was full of cigarette buts. Some staff girls of my hotel (coincidence!) were there also and left a plastic bag and bottle. I did not say anything at that point but took the rubish back with me and told them when I was back at the hotel. They did not seem to be concerned; as usual, city people seem to have absolutely no environmental concern.

Welcome to Phang Nga
I am travelling with Jessica, a girl that I just met in the fruity circuit. I love her because she likes improvising just like me. In the afternoon we went to these awesome waterfalls in this lush and green forest, just 10 min ride from town. Although there had been heavy rains at midday, the afternoon remained sunny and dry. We feasted on mangoes by the river and then went to look for durian back in town. We were both enjoying the same way, a really good connection!

Koh Chang
I met this woman on the island and then ran into her again in the ferry back to the mainland. She had offered me some coconuts to drink (for free) and remembered I was spanish. She kept saying "Hola amiga"

Live, from Koh Chang:
I love being an early bird; my real party happens during the first hours of daylight. Today I walked for one hour and then ran for another ½ hour from Lonely beach to Klon Prao. I saw some colourful birds, durian hanging from their tree and also recognized a wild green that I used to eat in the jungle of Gabon. It is like a spinach and very tasty. I got to the entrance of the forest trail leading to Khon Plu waterfall at 7.30am with the intention of having a rewarding freshwater feast before the crowd wakes up. There was a small office where a sign announced opening hours from 8am to 6pm and a 200 baht fee for entrance but nobody was in there. Alas, as I entered the trail, an officer was sitting by and said to me NO NO NO … I pretended not to understand and continued walking but it did not work… I said, “so… the waterfall is closed? “ And he replied YES…. Ahhh I don´t really like this waterfall infrastructure here in Thailand… Being organized is a blessing, but too much organization s@cks.
Anyway it was good to be back early to my lonely beach. I bought 2 pineapples and greens for breakfast and had an aircon lift back. Spent all morning at the beach; loads of sea water and sun through my skin feels so damned good.
