Local primates

Crab eater macaque. Macaco cangrejero.

The spectacled langur! (also known as dusky-leaf monkey). Had a nice jungle hike early in the morning and found them while they were eating. They apparently can eat up to 2kg of leaves per day. I recorded their shouts, quite impressive, so will post that later.

El langur de anteojos! (Trachypithecus obscurus). Otro de los encuentros estrella de este viaje. Railay ha valido la pena por esto y las luciérnagas, desde luego. Me los encontré temprano por la mañana cuando estaban comiendo. La luz no era muy buena y me quedé sin batería (qué típico). Como diría mi padre "vaya bicho más simpático".
