Mi animal favorito me ha dado la bienvenida a la isla. He pasado casi dos horas en este “puesto de observación”, como hipnotizada por el sonido de las olas y la ventolera que pegaba. Eran tortugas verdes (Chelonia mydas), un buen grupo, y por el tamaño parecían adultas. Seguramente estaban "forrageando" (comiendo algas, son herbívoras). Pero también aprovechaban para surfear olas a gusto, el fuerte oleaje no parecía molestarlas en absoluto.
My favourite animal has given me the best welcome to the island. I accidentally ran into this spot that has turned out to be a great observation point. I spent almost two hours here, watching them, completely dazzled by the strong wind and the sound of the waves. They were probably foraging on algae, but also surfing waves for fun.
